KLAMATH FALLS, Ore. – Robin Schwartz places the “R” in Rogers on Oct. 1st, 2nd, and third @ 7:30 PM on the Ross Ragland Theater. Schwartz will swoon you with Kenny Rogers’ best hits as a solo nation star and as a 60’s protest rocker together with his band “Kenny Rogers and the First Version.” From “Ruby, Don’t Take Your Like to City”, and “I Simply Dropped In”; to his iconic nation hits “The Gambler” and “Lucille.
The band consists of native legends Marv Strom on guitar, Paul Walborn on bass, Devin Walden on drums, David Huckins on keys, and Schwartz’s long-time efficiency companion Greg Dunton on guitar, with a shock or two up his sleeve. A particular visitor look shall be made by famend native people singer Bonnie Hay. Bonnie shall be performing a few duets with Schwartz in addition to a music of her personal.
This present was initially scheduled for Might however was canceled as a result of COVID-19. Within the interim, Mr. Rogers handed away, making this tribute present much more poignant.
