Oct 28, Nic rated it liked it Shelves: I really enjoyed the story of Koby and Julian. Office Advances by Carol Lynne.

Julian was a bit of a hot mess in this story. But all the good that came out was wonderful. Come on, TEB – give us ebooks! Julian Malono has many secrets that are starting to wear him down. It isn’t the most well written set of stories, but the messages are cravnigs. Though it’s not mentioned outright, it becomes evident that Julian suffers from PTSD when he regresses back to a traumatized childlike fugue after an unexpected confrontation from his father. Dec 22, Stacey Jo rated it really liked it Shelves: Also avoid publisher series, unless the publisher has a true monopoly over the “works” in question. For two years Chet watched Bobby Ray Sikes play, knowing the boy was meant for greatness.

It was a sweet story. Published October 8th by Total-e-bound first published October lynnw Dec 06, Gwengwel rated it liked it Shelves: I liked the characters well enough but didn’t particularly like the romance. It’s the personality and who I identify with the most. This was easily my favorite book out of the first three in the series.

Didn’t quite understand Julian’s dad’s motivation for coming back into his son’s life now. It ruined a little bit of the book for rcavings. They all looked out for each other and when Julian needed help they all went above and beyond to make sure he was okay.

Now only is Koby one of the most attractive men he has ever been around, he is one ca,pus the smartest and kindest, too. I love how the other couples support Rocco and Joe rather than cutting them down and alienating them from the group.

While this is hardly a novel scenario, there are some unique aspects of this book that stood out for me. Office Advances by Carol Lynne. Jun 21, Carrie rated it really liked it Shelves: Koby, the eighteen-year-old and college freshman, was in a place in his life that he could see the world more clearly than Julian, at twenty-four!

Be the first to ask a question about Sacking the Quarterback. I wanted to like this book.

The theme of growing up with physical abuse that makes it difficult for an MC to have a real relationship, has been done many times and this book didn’t add anything new or interesting to the genre. I was given a copy of this by the publisher in exchange for a fair and honest review.

Some of the This review really applies to the first 7 books of this series – CoachSide-LinedSacking the QuarterbackOff-SeasonForbidden FreshmanBroken Potteryand In Bear’s Bed I am together because really, they are one story broken into multiple novellas even more so than any other such series I have encountered anyway.

Thanks for telling us about the problem.

It would have been nice to SEE that dramatic scene. Side-Lined by Carol Lynne. Coming Clean by Carol Lynne. Locky in Love Born into an affluent family, Locky… More. I don’t know a thing about the American education system but was a surprised that this relationship wouldn’t have been frowned upon.

When I first pictured Joe Pressman in the previous book, I guess I pictured an older man with like a beard who smokes a pipe and stuff like that, so when I saw he was being paired with the devastatingly gorgeous son of Head Football Coach Collin, Rocco, I was a bit weirded out.

Joe is a middle age psychiatrist and he’s best friend is Coach Williams Rocco’s father and since the first time he saw Rocco he fall in love at first sight.

In the end of Off-Season we have known cravinggs Joe, the 35 years old psichiatric who cares about all the guys in the Campus Cravings series, and Rocco, the 18 years old son of old coach Williams. I wish they would have showed us at least one scene with Koby opening up to Julian, instead of telling us in a narrative. Unfortunately, Magnus is so busy researching the past, he doesn’t take the time to live in the present.

Nov 08, Nikko rated it it was amazing Shelves: Jack and Charlie are perfect for one another. There’s no reason they couldn’t have just said they had been training together for a few months and had it be later in the season, so they at least would have seemed to know each other first.
