I can only say that I found her style very clear and enjoyed reading them. Fulfills in remarkable measure most of the criteria for an ideal translation. I did still end up falling in love with the book reading the Garnett version. I didn’t read Anna Karenina I read something else entirely.

I’d read it so many times, that I could brohhers the book at random and just start reading and become completely immersed in it. I read her translation of Anna Karenina and then listened to a podcast of a university lecture on the same book and it was completely different.
